Bloggy awards...

Oh dear, so back in July the lovely Emma of The Wannabe Work at Home Mum kindly gave me an award that she probably wants to take back now... *hanging my head in shame* ... however in my defence we have moved, been renovating and hmmm, I forgot. sorry... but without further ado I gladly accept this lovely award with 10 things that make me happy:

1. Kind fellow bloggers who are always there with a nice comment, sweet letter or parcel, harmless stalking and encouragement -  you guys make me very happy!

2. Spring - what's not to like! New life, sweet flowers, my birthday (he he)...

3. Finding treasures at the oppies, and by the side of the road, heavenly!

4. Pizza night with The Munchkin - a great new traditions and memory maker.

5. My gorgeous real-life friends who have stuck by me through thick and thin and still love me for who I am (mostly)

6. That my family and I are healthy and live in a safe place on this earth and have our basic needs met.

7. Friends - yep! the TV show, still makes me happy everytime!

8. Sitting down with a new magazine or book and a cup of Chai.

9. Ok, I'll admit it, shopping makes me happy!

10. and last but not least, my gorgeous family - you may make me cross, or even downright mad sometimes but I always love you and the fact that you are in my life makes me happy no matter what xxx

My entire life philosophy in my 20's was based on Friends (Yep! The TV show again!) and to be honest it still kinda is!

I have every intention of letting my hair go grey when it chooses which will mean I have grey hair before my Nan, Mum and Mother-In-Law!

I have been reading Home Beautiful magazine since I was 17.

My first car was an orange Datsun 120Y called Mavis that took more oil than petrol.

My first ever cassette was "Kylie Minogue - I should Be So Lucky" for my 12th or 13th birthday.

The movies that had the most effect on me from 12 to 18 years old were: The Delinquents 1989, Cry Baby 1990 and Empire Records 1995.

People that know me really well know that my all time favourite colour is pink, even though I no longer wear it or really decorate with it anymore.
