Found...

...a great new cafe and vintage clothes shop in Launceston, Tasmania called Nanna's via Isis. It is located down the side of Toyworld or you can reach it round the back of B&E bank off Brisbane St. Check out what Isis has to say about it here.

...also Ut Si Cafe & Gallery in Perth, Tasmania (86 Main Rd) found via Killiecrankie Farm. The owners commitment to providing ethical, local and fresh produce to their customers is commendable. This extends to them having their own kitchen garden, and not providing meat on the menu if they can not source ethically produced product. They have discovered the wonders of Mt Gnomon Farm free range Essex Saddleback pork products, which is a local-to-me range that covers all the bases you could want in ethically produced pork products, and then some. The cafe itself is in a converted church and boasts stunning tables made from a reclaimed bridge with the bolt holes gorgeously filled with Myrtle, and the original cathedral ceiling. And the food looks AMAZING!!

I am absolutely bursting to try both these cafes and am most definitely treating myself to a day trip as soon as the house is on the market!! (Only a few weeks to go!!)

Till next time, xxx
