Happenings in High Maintenance Hippy land...

New professionally printed postcards and...

...greeting cards for the market have arrived! Yay!

Vintage wooden cotton reels have become...

...cute fabric tape rolls.

Crazy, messy rooms are becoming...

...functional spaces!

...with Oppie finds to fill them with. I contemplated recovering the stool, but for now at least the orange is making me smile!

The holy grail of Thermoses has been found for $1!! (Yes, dear husband - of course there is a holy grail of Thermoses!)

...and perfect planter boxes from Vinnies adopted for The Munchkin's little plant corner. *sigh*

...and as for me, I am reading this and being gentle with myself until the sadness can pass and the real healing can begin. Thankyou so much to everyone who has left kind comments to my previous post. It is such a personal journey but one that I felt writing about would be an important part of my healing process. None of us have 100% happy lives unfortunately and there must always be winters to our summers.

I'm off to watch some Little House...

Till then, xxx

  1. The thermos is divine! I am insanely envious!!! Oh the places you'll go! is a brilliant book. I often remind myself that I don't want to be in the waiting place and it gives me the courage or impetus to get on with things! x
