Here are some more of the "Before" and "Afters" of our Bathroom reno. The space is quite small so when we redesigned it we chose to turn the vanity around and give some more floor space plus allow a second person to enter the room while someone is brushing their teeth etc. It was a small change but made a huge difference to how we use the room now.
The small mirrored cupboard was built so sturdily into the wall studs that we eventually just chipped off the part that was sticking out and plastered straight over the top. The only light was the light you can see above the mirror, and yes, that IS a pull cord! We have a lovely remote controlled IXL now which feels like a luxury. The lack of breeze feels like a luxury too as we lived with plastic covering the holes in the wall around the bath for some time as Mr HMH ended up working in NT for 5 months after they had come down.
I'll admit to being a bit gung-ho about ripping them down in the first place...
We are so pleased with the way it turned out and I LOVE the built in shelving unit, black floors and black bath surround the most.
It looks like we may be moving back in again either while we wait for it to sell or for good so I look forward to styling it up a bit. I have a lovely Oppie oval shaped pie-crust mirror that will look great above the vanity and a few little ideas up my sleeve.

In a completely different matter, you should stop by Dee's place and check out her Real Life Pin project.
In here own words:
"i've decided to make it a regular personal challenge to replace wishful thinking with reality.
because, by it's very nature, inspiration cannot remain passive - it must be acted upon. and besides, wishful thinking only creates a nice cosy spot for Envy and Discontentment to settle down and strangle the gratitude in your heart"
It is such a great idea I think and I am so happy she has started this. There is a Flickr group where you can post your own inspiration and outcome pics. I have a few outfits planned that I pinned to my Pinterest board and am keen to try in "real" life :) What have you been inspired by and interpreted?
Have a fabulous weekend,
Yours in waiting,
Allana xxx
