A few things...

Every year I make up a calender about the year with The Munchkin as Christmas presents for the rellies. It is really the only time I sort out our photos, and it is a nice little story book type memory for us too. It is quite amazing how much our children grow in 1 year!

I am a bit late getting it sorted this year which turned out to be fortuitous as Snap Fish are offering a 2 for 1 deal until the 19th Nov. If you would like to take advantage of this offer the code is on the website (241CALENDAR) We are able to pick our order up from the local Kmart, but you can have them posted also. Their program is really user friendly, we get all our photo's printed with them too.

I am not known for my patience so we have been bandicooting wee potatoes from our compost bin. They were self sown anyway and with a quick cook and a little butter they were sooooo tasty!

I have started doing a bit of baking for a local cafe ...

... where I get to play with their awesome Kitchen Aid, plus have a few hours listening to music and de-stressing by myself. Yay! I feel like I should be paying them!

We also purchased a massive Narnia wardrobe from a friend and moved it into our craft room recently, after a HUGE clean up to make room for it. It required Mr HMH pulling it apart to get it in and I am so pleased he did without too much swearing as it is beautiful and so roomy. In the past I would have painted it, but I love the raw pine and have plans to beeswax polish it soon.

It may not look like it is very organised room but to us it is. The huge 4 sheep sheepskin I picked up from an oppie a while ago, after much airing and rain rinsing it now taking pride of place on the floor. I can't think of anything more luxurious to sit on to read, craft and cut out fabric.

It is a tiny nook of a room but now that we are getting systems in place it is a gorgeous space to be in. I ditched my desk so we could fit in a bit better and now The Munchkin has her desk under the window, and my sewing space is part of the computer table. It is a lovely arrangement as we can sit side by side while we get crafty.
Hmm, I must cover those chairs or get new ones one day!

So they are some of the things that have been going on here lately.

A bit all over the place, but that's fairly typical of my world haha :)

Yours,
Allana xxx
